Eeeeek, there’s a bit more than 48 hours until the deadline. There was a 24 hour extension granted for which I’m grateful, as currently I’m close enough to have a finished game, but without much time to actually polish the game.
Day 26: Lastplacer provided some extra maps that’ll be used in the game. I added some build scripts that can be used to build the game without requiring Eclipse. Continued working on the Scene Director and added a couple of parts of Chapter 1.
Day 27: Still more story work. This scene director is really taking a lot of time. I asked for some feedback on Chapter 1 and apparently it was too short and confusing, so I think I’ll need to rewrite / append more text to it.
Day 28: Rewrote major portions Chapter 1 due to feedback, continued working on Chapter 2. Found a rendering feature (It’s not a bug, or so they say)
Apparently, libgdx has an unfinished Tiled implementation, and it doesn’t support flipped tiles, which is why the Dojo looks like it was hit by a meteor. I’ll have to come up with a solution, fast, tonight.

Following this blog is the best thing I ever did! I would not have heard of the extension if it were not for this post!
Looks like the game is coming along nicely. Great job!
Thank you, and I’m glad you found out. Go, polish your game too!
